Rovers Take Stick

Zephyr Rover Chairman George Nash was this evening deflecting criticism on the Rover publicity machine publishing photos of a nurse on the Rovers blog. "I'm at a loss to know what all the fuss is about" said Nash "we thought it was a photo of the new Mrs Hussey although I accept now it might be a photo of another Hussey". Nash said the club had never made suggested that Eddie Hussey (pictured) was off to Ireland to get shacked up with a nurse. "The club emphatically denies any such suggestion" said Nash "in fact our official position is that Eddie should continue to play the field, the football field that is". Hussey could not be contacted to discuss the issue but was believed to be neither confirming or denying the speculation. "The lad wants to focus on the first grading game on Monday " said Nash "he's leaving me to think about about the nurses".
