Cao Fan Club Mooted

Zephyr Rovers Chairman George Nash said today that the club was thinking of setting up a fan club for John Cao after the player had received a lot of attention recently. "I'm not sure if it was Eddie's announcement that he was off overseas that did it" said Nash "but the lad seems to be getting a lot of females attention lately, although he's yet to be seen out on the town with a gaggle of nurses like Hussey". Cao said he was flattered by the attention he had been getting and said he wasn't sure what had been getting him the attention. "I think the lad should focus on his football" said Rovers Manager Steve Hall "I think he's getting a bit carried away and he's taken to wearing fancy football shoes and it's noticeable that he has a female contingent watching him at every game". Cao said he had no comment at this stage and wanted to score a few more times before he'd be satisfied with his performance.
