Vision Remains The Same
Zephyr Chairman George Nash said today that the board had reconsidered the club goal of being the best team in Wellington indoor football by 30 June 2030 after the close loss to Division 1 runner up Mercer. "We're looking to be about twenty years ahead of where we should be" said Nash "but we think a note of caution is necessary as we don't want to peak too soon". Nash said the board would be happy if Rovers hit the target before 30 June 2030 and had considered bringing the date forward to 31 March 2030 in recognition of the progress made too date. "I think we're better to leave the vision as it is and just see how we go over the next twenty years" said Nash "and if we win Division 1 before then then all so well and good. Nash said player recruitment might be the next issue as players with the "right quality for the squad" were becoming harder to find.

George has always had the same vision - blurred.
Maybe the club lacks ambition - I'd have brought the target forward by six months.
Get the man some beer goggles, then everything will be clear.
