Zephyr Rovers acting Manager George Nash (pictured) said he was ecstatic that Rovers beat Ten Left Feet in the final of the Division 1 plate. "I think it show this is a club going places and we've now one the trophy that confirms us as the fifth best team in the league" said Nash "only four more teams to knock off and we'll be king of the pile". Nash said it would be the first trophy for Sponsors Zephyr after the first two trophies had gone to a previous sponsor. "We should try and get all trophies together for a photo shoot" said Nash "not that we want to go over the top or anything". Nash said the game had been a close affair and the result was achieved without and substitutes. "The lads came through today and it augers well for the new season" said Nash "and it was good to get another win over Ten Left Feet". Nash said he'd celebrate quietly with a few hundred beers.
