Whites

Zephyr Rovers Chairman George Nash said next opponents Whites wouldn't be putting the fear of God into Rovers after they thrashed Mercer this week by eighteen goals. "We got beaten by Mercer and Whites thrashed them 20 - 3" said Nash "but we're not planning anything special for the match on Monday other than to find four huge defenders for the match". Nash said it was incredible that two teams had already scored twenty after only two rounds but the first team to do it actually lost their next game. "I think it shows it is all on the day in this league so you don't need to be petrified by another teams previous result" assessed Nash "and we're changing the line up from last week to see if we can do a little better at the back". Nash said all the defence in the world would be no good if Rovers couldn't score more than four goals. "The other thing about Div 1 is we need to play well to score more" said Nash "so we have a few things to think about before Monday".
