Chopper Chopped

Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall has admitted this evening that his key enforcer Colin "Chopper" McIntosh was nursing an injury and was in doubt for the clash on Monday against Whites. "The lad's been a bit of a marked man since his name got into the media as our hard man" said Hall "he got targeted a bit by Ten Left Feet and he's now nursing an ankle injury". Hall said that he'd expect George Nash to step up into the enforcer role. "Everyone in the world knows that if you have a Scotsman in your side he is meant to be the enforcer" said Hall "so it's about time George stepped up and showed some of those national traits". Hall said Rovers training had not been impacted at all by the two weeks of adverse weather in Wellington. "The boys have been conditioning a bit and it's wise to stay out of the cold at this point in the season" confided Hall.

He looks tough and sound tough - but how many knees has he broken?

It's the quality of the attack that matters - and the Glasgow Kiss is more effective.

Chopper was an animal - he should wear a lease during the games
