No Brazilians

Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall confessed this afternoon that he had not signed any Brazilians on his recent trip to Auckland. "I have to admit I didn't even see a Brazilian" said Hall "it turned out the place was full of Aucklanders, and as we know they haven't got the spine up there for competitive indoor football at the Shed". Hall said that fortunately he had a Plan B and would be talking to George Nash about changing his name to Nasho. "We already have a Cao" said Hall "and if we had a Nasho in the team we'd at least sound like we had a couple of Brazilians and this would put the fear of God into the other teams". Hall said he didn't think McIntosho or Husseyo really sounded quite right although Georgio could work. "I think we could go places if Goerge played like Ronaldinho" said Hall "but I think he's got a few skills to polish before he gets there".
