George Nash (pictured) discovered over the weekend that he had cracked his ribs in the last match against
Rothenbury Rangers. "It's fitting really that
George should crack his
ribs playing against Rangers" said Zephyr Manager Steve Hall "as all teams called Rangers seem to be able to put it about a bit". Hall said he wasn't listening to protests from Nash that he should be stood down from the game on Wednesday in Shed 6. "I don't know if George is made of the right stuff" said Hall "one little whack in the ribs and he is running for cover". Hall said Nash would have to play in goal if he couldn't run round in the out
field. "We're not a team of Big
Jessies" said Hall "and besides we don't have high expectations when we put a Scotsman
in goal".
