George Nash and Colin McIntosh today proudly modelled the new Zephyr Rovers kit that will be launched tomorrow with the match against Rothenbury Rangers. "We needed to spruce up the image for the new sponsor" said Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall "and so we moved to the silver and black strip to be in line with our sponsors colours". Hall said there had been a small hitch with the socks though. "We ordered silver socks and ended up with green ones" said Hall "so they're going back to the shop and it might take a week or two to get the new ones". Hall said that it would be the first time Rovers had had official shorts. The match will be at the Shed of Dreams at 1 pm and Hall said he'd be playing a strong line up to try and cemnet a top four position.
