Quiet Night

With the long Easter weekend and no game next week, Zephyr Rovers Chairman George Nash gave the Rovers players and management team the weekend off and told them to go and enjoy themselves. Nash himself had a few quiets at his Churton Park mansion. "It's at times like this one likes to kick back and enjoy the odd bottle of scotch" said Nash "it's a tradition I brought with me from Scotland where we used to distill the barley malt in a pot still". Nash said that whilst the resulting concoction was quite pleasing on the palette, it did have the impact of making some drinkers rather intoxicated. "I wouldn't recommend it for an amateur drinker like Charlie Smith" said Nash "but it's perfectly okay for a seasoned drinker like myself". Nash said he understood Smith was currently trying our weak Aussie beers in Perth as "they were the only kind you could get there".
