Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall today suggested his players lie low and stay away from black cats. "I'm not superstitious at all" said Hall "but there's no point tempting fate so I'll be asking the team to follow a number of good luck rituals today to ward off the possible consequences of the day". Hall said with the next game approaching against Datacom, he didn't want Ben White to bend over a black cat and become Ben Black. "You never know where this could lead" said Hall "I don't want to get a call on Saturday morning to say that Eddie has become Eddie Pussy"
"We have to be sensible about this sort of thing" said Hall "so I've asked the boys to avoid broom sticks and guys called Freddie".
