Pollock Wants More Goals

Zephyr Rovers Supporters Club President Liz Pollock said today she was looking for more goals from Rovers. "I thought the boys scored enough in their last match with nine" said Pollock "but being miserly only letting two goals in meant that the game was over as a contest well before the end". Pollock said as a Spurs supporter she was used to big scoring games. "I must admit that a 9 - 8 win would have been more exciting for the supporters" said Pollock "mean Spurs usually win or more often lose 5 - 4, so that's what I'm used to". Zephyr Rovers Manager Steve Hall said Rovers weren't here to give mild titillation to the fans by making games close. "Liz needs to get -a grip, we're not going to be playing like Spurs" said Hall "in fact we'll win 15 - 0 if we get the chance, after all we got done 10 -0 last time we lost and we've not been beaten for seven games since then". Hall said Rovers currently had the tightest defence in the league 11 goals in three games was miserly at this level.
